Upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 must be from Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 with or without one of the service packs. For example, you cannot upgrade Dynamics AX version 2.5 information directly to Microsoft Dynamics AX version 4.0. You must upgrade to version 3.0 first, and then to version 4.0. If you skip a version, the data upgrade facilities cannot handle data upgrade, and you are liable to lose data. |
